Oh Happy Day!

Nicholas finally has done it. I thought he was never going to, he will be 4yoa for goodness sakes in May. After begging, bargining, and threatening, Nicholas has put his #2 in the potty. He has been #1ing in the small potty for the past few days (still diapers at night). He didn't have a "#2" in quite a while and I was wondering and hoping that he wasn't trying to hold in. He came up to me earlier and asked me if we could put a diaper on so that Batman would not get wet...and I asked him "do you have to go poopie?" and he said yeh. Amen!! So we both went upstairs and I opened the lid to the little potty and he said "NO! I want to use the toilet!" I said "OK". I was so shocked. He sat down and I started to read a book to him and before too long, he had # 1 and # 2. I was so excited! My prayers were answered!

Let's Play at Chick-fil-a

Friday night I took the kids to Chick-fil-a to play and eat because it was Taylor's elementary school's Spirit Night Fundraiser.
Taylor and Rockclimber, her stuffed penguin that the kids in her class get to bring home to stay the weekend with. This was her weekend. She took good care of Rockclimber!

(Left to Right) Lexi, Taylor, and some other little girl. I have no idea who she is.

Taylor made a new friend while playing.

Static Queen!

I see you!

SNOW, SNOW, and MORE SNOW!

Ok, I love snow before or on Christmas Day! But after, I am ready to see it go. This week we got a TON! A dear friend of ours came by yesterday and plowed our driveway for us so that we could A) find our driveway B) get up our driveway. I tried driving up the driveway before it was plowed and I had to put it in 4-Wheel drive. Thank the Lord for 4-Wheel Drive! Can I get an AMEN!!

Learning to Knit

Let me first start out that I can crochet anything from baskets to afghans...but knitting...PLEASE! I consider myself pretty crafty. I had to give it a try. I have always wanted to learn how so here I go. I thought I would start out simple....Like a scarf. I love scarfs!! I mean LOVE them. I thought the green and blue would make a funky one. With the chilly Indiana winters, I hate to be cold and after Christmas, I am over the snow and cold air. Christmas wouldn't be Christmas with warm weather. How do they do it down south? I pray that I get it done before Spring so I can actually use it. It is coming along pretty well, considering I am teaching my self from the internet. Ha!
I have been working on it for about a week now when I get the time. Waiting on Katrina to get out of preschool in the car, sitting at Micky D's watching the kids play, or just giving up on laundry at night while I am watching TV and knitting a couple rows. This takes forever. I hope I don't get bored. I have seen such beautiful things made by doing this. I have a problem with finishing something once I get bored. I am determined to make this beautiful scarf. Wish me luck.

Halloween Night!

Here are my little devils all dressed up and ready to work for that candy!!

Taylor as a Wicked Witch.....and showing her wicked side....she was tired of Mom taking pictures of everyone. Ready to get down to buisness.

My sweet Katrina, will smile for any camera, as Strawberry Shortcake!

Who could of guessed that Nick wanted to be a firefighter. Well Daddy bought him a whole firefighter suit at FDIC this year, so he kinda had no choice....LOL!
They all were very successful at bringing home a loot of candy for dear Mom. Thanks Kiddos!
