Learning to Knit

Let me first start out that I can crochet anything from baskets to afghans...but knitting...PLEASE! I consider myself pretty crafty. I had to give it a try. I have always wanted to learn how so here I go. I thought I would start out simple....Like a scarf. I love scarfs!! I mean LOVE them. I thought the green and blue would make a funky one. With the chilly Indiana winters, I hate to be cold and after Christmas, I am over the snow and cold air. Christmas wouldn't be Christmas with warm weather. How do they do it down south? I pray that I get it done before Spring so I can actually use it. It is coming along pretty well, considering I am teaching my self from the internet. Ha!
I have been working on it for about a week now when I get the time. Waiting on Katrina to get out of preschool in the car, sitting at Micky D's watching the kids play, or just giving up on laundry at night while I am watching TV and knitting a couple rows. This takes forever. I hope I don't get bored. I have seen such beautiful things made by doing this. I have a problem with finishing something once I get bored. I am determined to make this beautiful scarf. Wish me luck.

Halloween Night!

Here are my little devils all dressed up and ready to work for that candy!!

Taylor as a Wicked Witch.....and showing her wicked side....she was tired of Mom taking pictures of everyone. Ready to get down to buisness.

My sweet Katrina, will smile for any camera, as Strawberry Shortcake!

Who could of guessed that Nick wanted to be a firefighter. Well Daddy bought him a whole firefighter suit at FDIC this year, so he kinda had no choice....LOL!
They all were very successful at bringing home a loot of candy for dear Mom. Thanks Kiddos!

Colts Game Picture!

We Won!

Pete Was Lost, But Now Found!

Early Saturday morning, I put Pete (the family rabbit) in his run-around pen and we forgot he was out there. Later that evening, we went out to put him back into his little cage an Pete we no were to be found. Sunday evening, we pull into the driveway and our neighbor Mark, was outside with a flashlight and said that he saw a rabbit jumping around. It was our lucky day. It was Pete. We are so happy to have him back!

No Cavity Club!!

What are you talking about Willis?
Dentist!
What Dentist?
Do we have to go?
Is it going to hurt?
They are just going to clean my teeth, right?
That is all I heard, in the truck this morning, on the way to our wonderful pediactric dentist!
Then, after the appointment, we were all happy campers! No cavities!! All three kids!!
I felt like I have won the war against plaque! No one can defeat the MOM! Yeh, they complained everytime I yelled upstairs, "make sure you brush your teeth" before bed. But in the end, it was worth it!

My trophy, a sticker! Feels good!

Nicholas did have his first x-rays. It was determined that his two bottom permanent teeth will be fused, just like his baby teeth are. Darn it! It looks like he only has three teeth in there. Genetics has taken its toll again! But still, no cavities! Good thoughts, must have good thoughts.

I just returned from picking up Katrina from dance class, now it is off to a glorious soccer game. Atleast it keeps me busy.......right? Hmmm!
